PowerSchool

Parents/Guardians/Students - Accessing PowerSchool via the Website Portal

There are ongoing issues with the PowerSchool app for iOS and Android devices. To ensure you have the most reliable access to your child's academic information, we recommend using the PowerSchool Website Portal https://minot.ps.state.nd.us/public instead of the mobile app.

To make this as convenient as possible, you can add a shortcut to the PowerSchool Website Portal directly on your iPhone or Android device's home screen. This will allow you to access the portal just like you would with any other app.

Adding a PowerSchool Website Portal Shortcut to your home screen on your device:

For iPhone Users:

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone.
  2. Go to the PowerSchool Website Portal: [https://minot.ps.state.nd.us/public].
  3. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (it looks like a square with an arrow pointing up).
  4. Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.
  5. Enter a name for the shortcut, like "PowerSchool."
  6. Tap Add in the upper right corner.

The shortcut will now appear on your home screen, allowing you to access the PowerSchool Website Portal easily.

For Android Users:

  1. Open Chrome on your Android device.
  2. Go to the PowerSchool Website Portal: [https://minot.ps.state.nd.us/public].
  3. Tap the Menu button (three dots) in the upper right corner.
  4. Select Add to Home screen.
  5. Enter a name for the shortcut, like "PowerSchool."
  6. Tap Add, and the shortcut will appear on your home screen.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to provide the best tools for supporting your child's education.

NDHSAA INFO

The policy was drafted by the NDHSAA Sportsmanship & Citizenship Committee prior to being Approved. The policy is effective immediately and reads as Follows:

Any attendee ejected from a regular season or NDHSAA tournament contest will incur a minimum three (3) game/event suspension from that team’s games/events and all other NDHSAA games/events in the interim at any level of competition. If the ejection occurs with fewer than three (3) games/events remaining in the team’s season, the suspension will carry over to the school’s sports season which immediately follows. An attendee ejected for a second time during a school year shall be suspended for a minimum of one (1) calendar year from all NDHSAA regular and postseason events. NDHSAA member schools may increase these minimum penalties at their discretion.”
